Nomination for The Shaw Prize 2026 began in early September 2025 and ended on 1 December 2025. Nomination is done by electronic filing and the Shaw Prize Foundation would like to thank the nominators for their enthusiastic support.

Professor Tom Zhi-Quan Luo, a Member of The Shaw Prize Council, was awarded the inaugural Hua Prize at ICCM (International Consortium of Chinese Mathematics) 2025.
The Shaw Prize presented its awards to four 2025 Shaw Laureates today at the 2025 Award Presentation Ceremony, held in the Grand Hall of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
