The Shaw Prize Exhibition showcasing the award-winning researches of the 2024 Shaw Laureates will be held at the Hong Kong Science Museum starting from 8 November 2024 to 8 January 2025.
The Shaw Prize marks its 21st year in 2024 since the first prize was presented. Four distinguished laureates received the Shaw Prize this year and they will be honoured at the Award Presentation Ceremony on 12 November 2024.
Same as last year, nominations will be made through an electronic system.
The 6th Shaw-IAU Workshop is scheduled to take place: 12 - 14 November 2024.
Professor Noga Alon has been awarded the Wolf Prize in Mathematics 2024 for his fundamental contributions to Combinatorics and Theoretical Computer Science.
9 June, 2024 – Professor Edward C Stone, Shaw Laureate in Astronomy 2019, David Morrisroe Professor of Physics, Emeritus, at Caltech, USA, passed away at the age of 88.
