The Shaw Prize presented its awards to four 2025 Shaw Laureates today at the 2025 Award Presentation Ceremony, held in the Grand Hall of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
18 October, 2025 – Professor Chen-Ning Yang, a founding member of the Shaw Prize, passed away at the age of 103.
The Shaw Prize Award Presentation Ceremony will be held in Hong Kong on Tuesday, 21 October 2025.
2025 marks the 22nd anniversary of the Shaw Prize. Four distinguished laureates received the Shaw Prize this year and they will be honoured at the Award Presentation Ceremony on 21 October 2025.
Same as last year, nominations will be made through an electronic system.
Tuesday, 27 May 2025. At today’s press conference in Hong Kong, The Shaw Prize Foundation announced the Shaw Laureates for 2025.
