With great anticipation, the Shaw Laureates 2024 will be announced this coming month. 2024 marks the 21st year of the presentation of The Shaw Prize, which recognises outstanding achievements in the fields of Astronomy, Life Science and Medicine, and Mathematical Sciences.

The Announcement Press Conference will be held on Tuesday, 21 May 2024 at 15:00 HKT (GMT 07:00) at Ballroom, Shaw Studios, Hong Kong. It will be livestreamed on our digital platforms listed below:

The nomination of The Shaw Prize 2024 began in early September 2023 and ended on 30 November 2023 via electronic filing. Members of the Selection Committees for the three prize categories screened the nominations, assessed and selected the most appropriate candidates, and presented a final proposal for The Shaw Prize Council’s consideration.
