2023 marks a significant milestone as the Shaw Prize celebrates its 20th anniversary. After three years of virtual celebration, we are thrilled to announce that we will be gathering in person once again.
The Shaw Prize Exhibition showcasing the award-winning researches of the 2023 Shaw Laureates will be held at the Hong Kong Science Museum starting from 10 November 2023 to 10 January 2024.
Congratulations to Dr Paul A Negulescu for being awarded the 2024 Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences.
September 10, 2023 – Sir Ian Wilmut, Shaw Laureate in Life Science and Medicine 2008 and Professor Emeritus of the MRC Centre for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Edinburgh, passed away at the age of 79.
Same as last year, nominations will be made through an electronic system.
The 5th Shaw-IAU Workshop on Astronomy for Education is scheduled to run on 29 November –1 December 2023 as a fully virtual event on Hopin as in previous years.
