The Shaw Prize Foundation will announce the Shaw Laureates 2025 in the coming month. 2025 marks the 22st year of the presentation of The Shaw Prize, which recognises outstanding achievements in the fields of Astronomy, Life Science and Medicine, and Mathematical Sciences.

The Announcement Press Conference will be held on Tuesday, 27 May 2025 at 15:00 HKT (GMT 07:00) at Ballroom, Shaw Studios, Hong Kong. It will be livestreamed on our digital platforms listed below:

The nomination of The Shaw Prize 2025 began in early September 2024 and ended on 2 December 2024 via electronic filing. Members of the Selection Committees for the three prize categories screened the nominations, and presented a final proposal for The Shaw Prize Council’s consideration.
